ROCK EN SEINE DOUBLE TAKE - MADNESS AVERT INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS MELTDOWN

The international diplomatic community held it's breath on Friday night as Anglo-French relations reached an all time low.
It's thought that British Band Oasis's late cancellation announcement for the Rock En Seine concert in Paris brought the two countries to the brink of all out conflict for the first time since the infamous 1898 Fashoda crisis.
Luckily, British ambassadors Madness were already playing at the concert that day on a different stage... sensing the brewing potential crisis, emergency talks ensued between the concert organisers and the Madness camp... shortly after, Madness took to the stage in place of Oasis. Any fears that the French Oasis fans would not be fully appeased by these measures were entirely dispelled by the time 'One Step Beyond' was finished. Relations quickly returned to normal, Crisis averted.
