Just a quick note to say I had the pleasure of Seeing Ade Edmondson’s folk / punk band play at Cecil Sharp House in Camden last night. The Bad Shepherds cover The Clash, The Jam, Wreckless Eric etc in a folk pipes, mandolin, double bass set etc with Ade singing.

And myself, fresh from the Paris stormer you boys played (thank you so much, a great show) I was wearing my Absolutely T-Shirt, I got to meet Ade afterwards, showed him it and asked him if all these years after The Young Ones wether The bad Shepherds had tried any Madness songs in their style.

I was delighted to be told “Grey Day” and “Our House” had been tried out in rehearsals a few times, but arent quite there in terms of being done live by the band yet. Could be good though 🙂
