Hi there Chris
Walking down the highstreet today I noticed that there is to be a production of the Madness musical in a small local theater.
This looks very interesting, I wonder will any of you lot be popping down for a look at all? (Especially Lee ;))
It is sometime in July I think.
Cheers
Sam
Dear Sam
Is Thommo in it? Funny enough I went to Patcham High School last night to see their version.
It was a really good show most energetic, although the car was a Triumph Herald and not a Morris 1000 . The props man told me they had to make a square car for practical reasons, so I dropped the law suit. The last night is tonight at 7.30pm and if anyone is reading this who lives in the Brighton area I would advise a visit. Patcham High School,Ladies Mile Rd Brighton, Sussex BN1 8PB tel:01273 503 908

Thanks everyone for all the great comments and reviews. I’ve had such a wonderful time working with all you lovely people, thank you so much. Well done everyone who was involved in producing such a fantastic show! It was an experience that I will never forget !!

Hi Chris,
Went to the last performance of the Patcham show this evening, I thought it was a brilliant production and very emotionally charged as a lot of those kids will be leaving school in a couple of months. My daughter, Holly was in the show and was dead chuffed at meeting you yesterday.
What struck me as much as anything was how much the music of Madness is as much a part of the fabric of our society as that of the Beatles (almost!)However, one thing that sets you apart from the Fabs and indeed makes you a fairly unique band is that no one dislikes you guys. No matter one’s musical taste, everybody loves a bit of Madness in their lives.
Thanks for popping in to see the kids, you made a lot of people happy on a very personal level. As for me, I look forward to seeing you for the first time at Camp Bestival and checking out further, your back catalogue especially your last album which has been getting great reviews.
All the best
Perfect – Madness AND a Triumph Herald
I loved my 1961 Triumph Herald 1200 Saloon – it always got me to the dance AND made sure I came home alone (those buggers with Spitfires)
Hi Chris,
Thank you so much for supporting our students in their production of ‘Our House’. They have worked so hard and I know were really excited when they heard you might be in the audience last night. (As too were most members of staff!)
I’m glad you enjoyed the show and I’m really sorry we went for the less ‘curvy’ type of car, the beautiful Triumph Herald instead of the expected ’rounded’ Morris 1000, it was a lot easier to make! Thanks for dropping the law suit!!!
Thanks for sparing the time to speak to me and our wonderful students at Patcham High School.
Best wishes Chris.

Hiya
We are members of the cast of Our House here at Patcham and we would just like to say how honored we are to be placed on this website and have such a great review. We have worked so hard on this show and feel like it has really been worth it. Tonight is our last performance and (technically) my last show at Patcham as i will be leaving. I’ve had a great time and spent my last 6 months at Patcham with the best cast anyone could ask for. If anyone wants to come and see it, book your tickets now as seats are going fast! Thanks Chris
