Cheers all….This has probably gone further than it should.My fault for nit picking really,it all stemmed from a question regarding the band reworking some of the hidden gems on the album.Would have loved to hear them!!!Still confusion now cleared so once again thank you all for comments….Cheers Dave

Sorry for the confusion on the blog entry. What we were told by USM is that The Madness will not be released at the same time as Wonderful. Previous reports had the two albums coming out the same day, like with the prior pairs of reissues. I hope that makes better sense. 🙂

Yes I can see what you mean about being out of sequence Dave. But With Mad Not Mad being owned by a different record company, and under further disscussions on when and how that album will be re-released, The slbums following it would be out of sequence anyways wouldnt they, due to that situation. I think also given the nature of The Madness it’s differing approach and band members and history et it’s a little harder to nail down the bonus disc 😉 if you get my pun ha ha. Wonderful is an easier and more full Madness album to get back out there and probably I would think of commercial interest to a wider part of the fan base, especially with it’s top ten hit single Lovestruck etc.

in a way i hope that e.m.i. release mad not mad with the missing letter of ‘madness’, that would have been ‘the madness’ (does that make sense?), as i dont class ‘the madness’ as a proper madness album.

I think Dave it just says that The Madness is not being released now at the same time as Wonderful which is announced and ready to come out in September. The Madness will still be later re-released I believe.
