Dear Chris,
on the inside cover of the vinyl LP “Absolutely” there is this nice stunning black and white photo of you with the cigarette in your mouth( the one where you put your hands close to your mouth) and I think it is a real work of art. I would like to know if there is a chance to see a larger print of this photo as i would love to enlarge it.I also love the song One´s second thoughtlessness a lot and I would like to know how the song was recorded.. it sounds like it was done not in a normal studio but an attic or cellar because it sounds like it was intentionally “reduced” in the sound to intensify the dark voice of Lee even more..Can you tell me more about the “burglar” topic in the song?
And would you agree that Mr. Speaker is the most “british” song you have recorded so far?
Lots of hugs
July
Dear Julie
You are mistaking me for Thommo. there are no prints of the photo it was about 28 years ago. Woody recorded the music for ” One´s Second Thoughtlessness” at his house then we transferred it to 24 track I think. I think the most British song we have recorded it the Liberty of Norton Folgate, that’s got it all. Although mostly about London it’s a microcosm of UK history.
thanks CB
