The other weekend I went to the Folkestone Skabour Festival, a weekend of fantastic music with the likes of Rhoda Daker, The Beat lots of tribute bands and fantastic DJ’s all in all it was amazing..however there was a band that stood out, for me from the rest called the Meow Meows from your neck of the woods ( Brighton) They were brilliant. An 9 piece Ska band, all seemed to be in their 20s, two female lead singers and the best bit,they played all their own stuff..it was a total breath of fresh air. They are very well worth a look and have some songs on their Myspace site you can listen too..They would be fantastic support to get the crowd going and they put in 100%!! ones for the future I hope who just need that break.See you at Earls Court!!

I just went to their myspace page, not too bad, frantic SKA stuff. They are on down here with Neville Staples next week, I shall try to get along.
