Chris,

I was talking to Chris Bostock of the Jo Boxers this week. He is currently doing up www.joboxers.net and was asking me for ideas of how to put up something about their time with Madness. I was stuck for ideas. Have you any recollections of them or anything you’d like to say about them?

Can you remember them coming on stage during Cairo dressed as sphinxes unbeknownst to you and the boys?

They were great, I used to drink with them for some time after in the WAG club and Sean McCluskey the drummer ran some really good clubs. He also “occupied” a building next to our office in Caledonian Road. Barso saw them abseiling down the side of a hotel once, using ropes made out of sheets. Crazy guys..
