Just a quicky if I may. Am I right in thinking that the some of the Julian Temple Norton Folgate film footage was filmed in darkest foggiest wettest Wapping? I live just over the river in Rotherhithe and often find myself over that way.. a perfect setting for the victorian mood of the film. I think I spotted Suggs and Carl in the alley next to the Town Of Ramsgate pub.. and on the “beach” just down the steps from the alley… and were those tombstones the ones along the wall in the park opposite the river police station?
