I’ve been enjoying all the reissues recently and it led me to ask whether the sitars you record with are the traditional variety or the 60’s electric baby sitar type. I’ve always liked the fact that you have often used them in songs that you wouldn’t expect a sitar…and to good effect, I should add!

Clive Langer suggested using one on “Night Boat to Cairo”, I thought he meant a real one I was a bit worried. This is what I used.

So no worries. Clive bought one in the end I used it on quite few songs. “Shut Up”, “Grey Day” it was in the video.
