Hi chris.
Looking forward to your new stuff..have ripped big time sister and black and blue for my iPod(but will still buy it all).
Couple of dits to tell you.
1. I work as a youth intervention officer. Took a couple of lads out the other week. On way home in a little police marked up fiesta we had divine madness pumping out at full blast on the stereo up the A3…brilliant way of engaging with the kids.
2. About 5 years ago I worked Guildfest and was desperate to meet you all, but ended up dealing with some idiot out to spoil everyones night…missed your performance!!
3. Saw you at the DC in 07 and you hit me in the face with your gig…you did apologise, still best gig of my life.
Hope you keep on for years to come-despite staying true to your roots, you have evolved as brilliant musicians and showmen (despite Showtime at hull lol)
If you are able, would love to buy the whole band a drink before or after a gig and just say hello and thankyou.
Jim (fan since 1980)
Thanks JIm
Hul, yes I was let down a bit by the brass boys but they totally redeemed themselves in Sheffield. That’s a very good job you’re doing there. Our old mate Chalky does the same sort of thing and I’ve nothing but admiration for him. I hit you with my what? My guitar? Was it damaged?
