I want you to know that Siberia knows you and loves you.
And one stupid question, if you don’t mind.
Nowadays I’m in the middle of divorce, I’m lovestruck and I’m listening to ‘Lovestruck’ about 500 times a day, cause this great song seems to be a perfect soundtrack for what’s happening in my life today.
But I understand it musically only, the sense of lyrics totally slips away from me because of my poor english.
Can you explain to the dumb in two simple words, what this song is about and what the lamppost is doing there?)))

I’m sorry to hear about your divorce. I’ve been there myself. The song is about someone who is very drunk and is walking home and cannot stand up, so he hangs onto a lampost which makes it appear as though he is in love with a lampost.

does that make sense?
