Good morning Commander Foreman
Hoping you’re well and enjoying the snow/rain/sleet/whatever the weather is in Hove…
Couple of questions, really. Bit more banality for you. I know you like banality in your cupboard.
First, I recall Suggs saying in an interview that he was a fan of the poet Philip Larkin, and as I’m currently bleeding my eyes out writing English Lit coursework on him ,I wondered if you were a fan as well. Are you really a poetry man?
Secondly, on the old Madness website, back in the mists of time, in the dark days before Norton Folgate and such, there was a link to where you could buy paintings done by Mike’s mum. I know its a bit of a shot in the dark, but do you know whether there is still a website for this. They were really good paintings.
All the best my man
Owen The Nutter
Dear Owen
Poetry not really, although I did like Roger McGough back in the sixties and of course the great Johnny Gauld.
