having banged on about the session version of ‘Tiptoes’in previous correspondence I can’t tell you how excited I was to receive the news that it’s going to be included on the reissued ‘7’.I truly believe this is one of your best performances set to tape.The vibe is superior to the’Rise & Fall’ version( not that it’s awful in any way!)So a BIG THANK YOU to all concerned in including it.Loved the OSB reissue.One minor gripe;the video stills in the booklet were a bit ‘Divine’ packaging.It would have been nice to include archive photo’s from’79 instead.Sorry for being so nit-picky.I suppose the gatefold memorabilia spread from ‘Complete’influenced my thoughts as it defined everything in spirit about what you Nutty boys are about.Finally,I wouldn’t worry about ‘Forever Young’s’lack of chart activity,it wasn’t available in any mainstream record shops.I picked mine up from Select-a-disc on Berwick St.I think for us true collectors a small production of copies at a higher price is preferable to digital only releases a la Sugar & Spice’& it was packaged beautifully.
Looking forward to another classic Madfest this year.
