Chris,As you may or may not know Gerard Kelly, who appeared in “Take it or Leave It” as The Invaders singer passed away today(28.10.2010)aged 51. Too young.

That’s sad. Too young. To some of our readers miles away but to me, it’s too young. He had a hard job in the “Take it or Leave It” film, he couldn’t hear himself singing and [strangely enough] didn’t know “Jailhouse Rock” which actually added to the charm of the performance.

This is the sort of thing some directors and actors do via “the method” hey! – we were doing it for real! I had seen him in Rab C Nesbitt and other stuff over the years and I said to the wife or whoever was with me, “he was in our film, he was”. I used Google to research this and I had forgotten he was also really funny in “Extras” with Ricky Gervais.
