Way back when… I wrote to Jim’ll Fix It at least 15 times to ask if I could meet you, you were my favourite band then and still are to this day. Embarassment was the first single I bought and One Step beyond my first album, all the posters on the wall, my mum even knitted me a two tone cardi on her knitting machine! Damn him and his gold tracksuits, he never even wrote back…..
I’m coming to see you in Manchester on 30th and seeing as Jim isn’t doing his thing anymore I will ask you instead….Dear Chris, Please can you fix it for me to meet Madness, my favourite band for the last 30 years? (don’t worry about the Jim’ll Fix It badge, my husband has a soap on a rope with it on, that’ll do!)
