my apoligies if it seemed that I may have been inpatient regarding any late replies on my recent posts. Not the case at all, i think we had crossed emails without realising. All us fans are quite amazed that u somehow find the time and patience to keep this blog going, so we dont mind if our replies take a week, a month or whatever. As for your answer regarding my previous post on your Q award and the british music industry, I really don’t think I was being over the top. It’s all about image in this country, no matter how good or bad or even very bad the music is, we just don’t look after our older gems, yet look back to see wot we’ve produced – beatles, floyd, queen, MADNESS, oasis, etc etc.. I think the music industry needs to appreciate, support and celebrate the older talent as much as the new one. There is plenty of good talent and new tunes about nowadays, more than ever perhaps, but I think that most of it is influenced by bands and acts from the last 40 years, so the! y should be appreciated a lot more by wot they’ve done, and as in your case, still doing. Sorry to have such a strong view on this, i don’t hold back.
