Do you remember the first gig you played in Italy in 1980. The cops came into the venue and started to hit us with their sticks..We were far away from the stage. Well, you guys stopped playing and asked to the cops to please stop and stand back. I am 45 now and I still remember..nobody stepped up for me before. Thanks Simonetta

I remember sitting in an Italian venue once watching the Lambrettas who were supporting us. I was with Thommo and we saw a load of people force their way in with machetes and so on. They came through the side through a vending area which was shut. I think a lot of people thought you shouldn’t have to pay to get into gigs then. The Police tear gassed them but it blew back at the police. Great and crazy times, I wish I could’ve videoed it. I’m glad we stood up for you, we would do that anytime.
