Feature on 70s Jukebox BBC Cov & amp; War

Hello Chrissy Boy

I produce and present a “Seventies Jukebox” programme for BBC Coventry and Warwickshire radio and online. I’m emailing a number of great artists from the Seventies (and beyond) like yourself with a request.

I’m asking you to choose tracks for a feature called “My sounds of the 70s”, not a great title I know, but the best I can come up with. I’m wondering if you could, by email to the address above, nominate seven tracks from the decade. The only “rules” are that the tracks must have been recorded or made famous in the 70s and I would like you to include one of your own recordings in the list. If you have the time and inclination to tell me a bit about your selections then great but that’s up to you. One final note, I have access to the BBC Desktop jukebox which is pretty comprehensive but does have some omissions so if you could include three “reserve” tracks that would be helpful.

I’m sending the same request to Thommo’s Treehouse so any joint effort would be very gratefully received.

I appreciate you’re busy but if you’re able to help I’ll be thrilled.

Many thanks

Clive Eakin

Thanks for those Chrissy… great stuff. Could you just add one Madness track? It has to be from the 70s which I realise is slightly limiting.

    Many thanks again

    Clive
